Each year the band selects a charity to work for. Last year (2007) we worked with a fine group of people for CLIC. Cancer and Leucemia in Children and managed to raise in excess of £3500. We'd like to thank all of those who help and worked so hard to achieve this and also to those people who were so generous. In 2008 we decided to help the South Wests' Precious Lives appeal. Not only did we make a collection at most of our gigs but we also ran a Charity Party at Indian Queens Working Mens Club on Friday 27th June. The total for the year was over £1500.For 2009 we are supporting both the Cornish Air Ambulance and because of our connection to the Armed forces "Help the Hero's" Watch this space to see how we do this year! |
